Rachel Crowder is a healthcare strategist, health insurance agent, serial entrepreneur, and Cranial Prosthesis Specialist with more than 15 years of experience across healthcare delivery, population health, health insurance, Medicaid managed care, digital health, and care transformation. She is also not new to the beauty industry.

Before founding Taylor Hair Solutions, Rachel founded and operated Mask Off Beauty, a natural skincare brand featuring organic skincare products. From 2018–2021, she built the brand with a focus on helping consumers incorporate thoughtfully formulated, natural skincare products into their routines. Her experience as a beauty entrepreneur gave her firsthand insight into the importance of personal care, confidence, self-expression, and creating products and experiences that make people feel good about themselves. 

Rachel's passion for medical hair-loss solutions is deeply personal. Having experienced medical-related hair loss herself, she understands that hair loss can affect far more than appearance. It can impact confidence, identity, emotional well-being, and the way you feel when you look in the mirror. She also understands how overwhelming it can be to find the right hair solution while navigating an underlying medical condition and the complexities of healthcare and insurance.

That experience inspired Rachel to create Taylor Hair Solutions, a company that brings together her healthcare expertise, beauty-industry experience, entrepreneurial background, and personal understanding to support individuals experiencing medical hair loss. Her goal is to provide compassionate, personalized guidance as clients explore their options, find a cranial prosthesis that feels right for them, and navigate the process with greater confidence.

As a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist, Rachel especially enjoys helping people rediscover a sense of joy and confidence when they look in the mirror. She believes the right hair solution is about more than replacing hair, it can be an important part of helping someone reconnect with their identity and feel more like themselves.

Rachel holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration. She is also licensed in health insurance in Ohio.
